These are one owner speakers, the original owner was a Navy officer and these were purchased at a Navy exchange somewhere. As you can see, the cabinets look great. I used some Watco's on them which restored and evened the finish, and then Scott's Liquid Gold, which gave them a nice lustre. The carved grills are solid, but there are a couple of small edge chips in the carving. I restapled the cloth where it attaches to the grill in a couple of places. Tested with music and pink noise, these SP-2000's sound good. All the drivers are working and the speaker to speaker output is closely matched, but just a little different. I suspect any difference in the sound is in the level controls. The level controls work, but are not perfect. They could use some Deoxit. Pick up only. No shipping.
