Accounting Clerk

Busy office located in Saugerties, NY is in need of a strong Office Assistant to assist the accounting department with receiving and posting payments.
Look up accounts for accurate information
Prepping payments
Perform data entry
Open incoming mail for payment receipt
Review and respond to incoming emails
1+ years experience as an office assistant
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Some Accounting experience a plus
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to work 7:30-4:00 Monday through Friday

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
